We are seeking four experienced Data Communications Technicians to support a project at a VA medical clinic near Norman, Oklahoma. This assignment involves basket-tray and hallway installation, as well as copper data communications cabling work. Qualified candidates must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and have a strong background in structured cabling installations.
Responsibilities
- Install basket tray systems and hallway cable pathways
- Perform data communications copper cable installations
- Terminate data jacks and complete testing as required
- Execute top-out work in accordance with project specifications
- Follow all site safety requirements and industry best practices
- Complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience with structured cabling and data communications installations
- Ability to perform work independently without close supervision
- Experience with copper cable termination and testing
- Reliable transportation and ability to work the full project schedule
Preferred Certifications
- BICSI Installer Certification
- OSHA 10 Construction
- Lift Certification
- Manufacturer-specific copper cabling certifications
