Job Summary: The technician will support computers, software, peripherals, classroom technology, audiovisual equipment, and other common technology issues. The role will also assist with workstation setup, equipment deployment, employee onboarding/offboarding, classroom and meeting technology, and routine IT maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Provide frontline technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Troubleshoot Windows and macOS computers.
- Troubleshoot software, applications, user accounts, and authentication issues.
- Support printers, peripherals, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and mice.
- Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues.
- Assist with workstation setup and equipment replacement.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assist with office moves and technology deployments.
- Support classroom and conference-room technology.
- Troubleshoot displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, speakers, and presentation equipment.
- Assist with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, livestreams, and hybrid events.
- Assist with Windows, macOS, and mobile device setup and deployment.
- Install approved software and perform routine operating-system updates.
- Assist with device enrollment and workstation configuration.
- Assist with technology inventory and equipment tracking.
- Escalate advanced technical issues to senior IT staff when required.

Required Skills
\n

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience or demonstrated knowledge supporting computers, technology, or end users.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
- Basic knowledge of software and operating systems.
- Knowledge of computer peripherals.
- Ability to troubleshoot common computer and technology problems.
- Familiarity with Windows environments.
- Strong customer-service skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
