The Hardware Engineer contributes to the design, development, and validation of computer hardware systems and peripheral devices. This role supports the full hardware development lifecycle—including research, design, prototyping, testing, and implementation—to deliver reliable, high-quality components that integrate seamlessly with related software and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test hardware components, including circuit boards, microchips, modems, routers, keyboards, and related systems.
  • Update and enhance existing hardware to ensure compatibility with evolving software, system, and performance requirements.
  • Create, interpret, and follow detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support manufacturability and production readiness.
  • Build, evaluate, and troubleshoot prototypes; analyze failures and implement design improvements as needed.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry advancements to support innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, developers, and cross-functional teams on integrated or multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Document processes, test results, and design changes in accordance with engineering standards and organizational practices.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 0–6 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Foundational understanding of hardware design principles, component-level systems, and testing methodologies.
  • Works under direct supervision, handling routine tasks while escalating complex issues to senior team members.
