Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and document complex digital, analog, and mixed signal electronic circuits.
- Lead technical design efforts to ensure product specifications are feasible and met.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to determine optimal technical solutions aligned with product requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and system level issues.
- Establish and maintain methods, procedures, and testing approaches to ensure compliance with emission, susceptibility, isolation, ESD, and EMI standards.
- Ensure hardware designs comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including FDA, EU, EMI, and ESD standards.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience required.
- Seven or more years of experience designing microprocessor-based products that comply with ESD, EMI, and other regulatory and safety requirements required.
- Five or more years of experience in analog design, including audio and power circuits required.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Deep understanding of digital, analog, and mixed signal electronics.
- Strong experience with microprocessor-based system design.
- Ability to develop and troubleshoot firmware.
- Proven experience designing regulatory compliant hardware.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
- Enthusiasm for engineering in the field and mission PRC Saltillo serves.
