Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications

Approximately 3+ years of professional software development experience, with substantial recent hands-on

Python development.

Strong Python, object-oriented design, application architecture, package/module design, and software

engineering fundamentals.

Proven experience developing and supporting production-grade Python applications and services.
Hands-on experience building Web applications and Web UI components connected to backend services.
Strong API and system-integration experience, including REST and enterprise data interfaces.
Strong SQL, database integration, and data-processing experience; practical experience with Pandas or equivalent libraries.
Experience maintaining and enhancing large, existing codebases, including debugging unfamiliar components.
Strong automated testing experience, preferably with pytest, including effective mocking and integration testing.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, Linux and/or Windows server environments, and production release processes.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application, data, integration, performance, and scheduled-job failures.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work with business users, Quants, support teams,
infrastructure teams, and application owners.

Preferred Qualifications

Python web frameworks such as Streamlit, Quart, FastAPI, or Flask.
Modern front-end development using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
PostgreSQL, SQL Server, QuestDB, Xenomorph TimeScape, or other time-series/data platforms.
Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Murex, or comparable market-data and capital-markets system integration.
Enterprise scheduling tools such as Tidal and messaging technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
GitLab CI/CD, containerization, automated deployment, and modern observability tooling.
Financial-services or capital-markets technology experience, ideally Equity Derivatives, structured products,
QIS, or market data.
