- Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and other hardware.
- Perform racking, stacking, cabling, and labeling of equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, power, and connectivity issues.
- Replace faulty parts such as hard drives, memory, power supplies, cables, and network components.
- Monitor equipment and respond to alarms, alerts, and hardware failures.
- Perform break/fix work and make sure issues are resolved quickly.
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and security requirements while working inside the data center.
- Use ticketing systems to document work, update incidents, and track issues.
- Work with network, systems, facilities, and engineering teams when issues need escalation.
- Perform equipment moves, adds, changes, and decommissions.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
- Work in a hands-on environment, often requiring standing, walking, lifting equipment, and working in server rooms.
