Position Summary - Reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

The Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner to hospitality operations, finance, sales, marketing, and executive leadership by transforming data into actionable business insights. This role is responsible for analyzing operational and financial performance, developing reporting solutions, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, improve processes, and delivers meaningful analytics that enhance guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue performance

Key Responsibilities of the Hotel Resort Data Analyst Manager:

- Track Hospitality Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), and Total Revenue per Available Room (TrevPAR), labor overtime etc.
- Build Dashboards: Design and maintain automated dashboards and visual reports for department heads and executive leadership using business intelligence tools.
- Analyze Operations & Labor: Evaluate labor efficiency, payroll variances, and departmental expenses against forecasts.
- Evaluate Guest Feedback: Combine post-stay surveys and guest feedback data with operational trends to recommend service and experience improvements.
- Ensure Data Quality: Extract, clean, and validate data across property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, and legacy databases.
- Support Financial Planning: Assist finance teams by providing data insights for upcoming budgets, pricing strategies, and revenue projections.

Qualifications & Skills of the Hotel Golf Resort Data Analyst Manager:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial reporting. Hospitality, resort, or tourism industry A PLUS.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Experience with SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical leaders.
