Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099).
About the Opportunity:ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a software engineering team at a leading healthcare analytics and payment-integrity organization based in the greater Philadelphia area.
This is not a ceremony-only Scrum Master. You will protect the team, connect delivery to product vision, and run high-impact sprints in a regulated healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Scrum for a software engineering team delivering healthcare solutions.
- Facilitate planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives with discipline.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from disruption.
- Bridge product vision and technical delivery.
- Drive sprint efficiency, predictability, and continuous improvement.
- Operate in a complex healthcare domain.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years as a Scrum Master on software engineering teams.
- Current Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Experience facilitating high-impact sprints—not admin-only Jira hygiene.
- Strong stakeholder and product-partner communication.
- Ability to work remotely in support of the Blue Bell, PA organization.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare, payment integrity, or other regulated-industry delivery.
- SAFe or multi-team program experience.
- Engineering-team fluency.
