- Software integration testing and test automation
- Analyzing test failures
- Designing and automating new tests
- Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution
- Regular interaction with teams located in different geographical regions
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional work experience as a Software Development Engineer or Software Quality Engineer
- Experience with programming in Python programming languages
- Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ideal Requirements:
- Ability to write shell scripts and familiarity with Xcode; able to build or modify existing iOS application code
- Test automation experience (XCTest is a plus)
- Familiarity with Apple OS platforms, debugging, or profiling tools
- Proven ability to analyze and find root causes in multi-tiered, client-server environments
- Experience testing backend services at the API or protocol level
- Strong understanding of test types and their purpose (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Familiarity with logging and analytics concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Curious and proactive; eager to learn and explore
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience working with virtual assistants is a plus
Education:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
