CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Software Engineer I.
Type: Contract
Job Title: Software Engineer I
Location: Painted Post, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Painted Post, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Description
Entry-level Software Engineer responsible for software development, testing, debugging, and support of manufacturing software, measurement, inspection, machine vision, image processing, data collection, machine learning, and reporting systems.
Requirements:
• 0-3 years of software development experience; new graduates welcome
• C#, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, Web Services, and/or Microservices
• JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, Angular, or similar frameworks
• Git, GitLab, Subversion, or Visual SourceSafe
• Object-oriented programming and software design
• SDLC, software testing, QA, debugging, and problem-solving
• Relational databases and data analysis preferred
• Experience with sensors, cameras, motion systems, image processing, or control systems preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
