Estimator / Project Manager - Architectural Glass

We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager - Architectural Glass to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial glass and glazing projects from estimating and bid preparation to project execution and closeout. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of experience in the glass and glazing or construction industry, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings and specifications to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop competitive bids and proposals for curtain walls, storefronts, windows, railings, and other glazing systems.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services based on architectural drawings and specs.
• Oversee all aspects of project execution to ensure milestones are met on time while maintaining adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review contracts, project plans, specifications & spreadsheets, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Work directly with contractors, architects, and clients
• Assist with material ordering, stock length takeoffs, purchase orders, and verifying deliveries.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure accurate pricing and reliable delivery of materials.

​Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in the glass, glazing, or commercial construction industry.
• Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, storefronts, glass railings, windows, and other architectural glazing products.
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software and tools, including Bluebeam, Procore, Partner Pak by Demichele Group, and MS Office Suite/365 Programs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Familiarity with major glazing manufacturers (e.g., Kawneer, YKK, CRL, EFCO, Wausau).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently.

Will require travel to Newburgh, NY office.
