We are currently seeking a passionate and highly-skilled Senior Project Engineer - PM (PE) to join our dynamic and innovative Engineering team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for managing and designing complex civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the engineering industry, with a focus on wastewater systems, drainage, site, and water systems. This role requires excellent client communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality civil design solutions.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer - PM (PE), you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
2. Developing and implementing project plans, risk assessments, and communication plans.
3. Coordinating and liaising with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Designing and overseeing the implementation of wastewater systems, drainage, site, and water systems.
5. Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
6. Ensuring all engineering designs and works comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
7. Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on wastewater systems, drainage, site, and water systems.
4. Strong knowledge of civil design principles and practices.
5. Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Exceptional client communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools.
8. An Engineer in Training (EIT) certification would be a plus.
