C++ Trading Tech Lead - NYC/Philly - $1M+ Comp

Job Description

Looking for a senior C++ engineer to join a front-office trading team with a clear path toward leading and building out the technology group.

You’ll start hands-on, working directly with traders and engineers to design, build, and optimize high-performance trading systems. The focus is on performance, latency, scalability, and getting ideas into production quickly, not sitting on the sidelines managing projects.

\n

The team is currently 6 developers and is expected to grow to 6–8+ engineers. The goal is for this person to become the technical leader of the group as it expands, giving you the opportunity to influence architecture, engineering direction, hiring, and eventually team leadership.

\n

\n

C++ is key, and they’re open to strong engineers coming from either the buy side or sell side. You don’t need direct ETF experience, the asset class/product background is flexible.

\n

\n

The important part: you won’t be waiting two years to start making an impact. You’ll have meaningful ownership from day one, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role while staying very close to the technology.
