Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Mainframe Application Developer position for our client.

Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Develop, maintain, and support applications in an IBM Mainframe z/OS environment.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide application, production, and z/OS environment support.
Support mainframe databases and transaction processing systems.

Skills:

IBM Mainframe z/OS, VSAM, JCL, REXX, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe tools.
Proficiency in COBOL, PL/1, or Assembler.
Experience with DB2 or IMS-DB and familiarity with CICS or IMS-DC.

Experience:

Hands-on experience with mainframe application development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.

Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
