Job DescriptionOwn the Systems. Solve the Hard Problems. Make Support Better. ConnexPay
Remote – U.S. | Atlanta, GA | Dallas, TX
Full-Time

Ready to move beyond basic ticket resolution and take real ownership of the systems that keep a growing fintech company running?

ConnexPay is hiring an Enterprise Support Engineer II to own, administer, integrate, and improve our core business application environment—including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, security tools, CRM, and SaaS applications.

You'll be the escalation point when an issue is too complex or urgent for Level I support, but this role goes well beyond troubleshooting. You'll identify recurring problems, automate manual processes, strengthen security and access controls, mentor Level I engineers, and partner directly with teams across the business.

If you enjoy figuring out why something keeps breaking—and then fixing it so it doesn't happen again, this role is built for you.

About ConnexPay:

ConnexPay is a global payments technology company transforming modern e-commerce by bringing PayIns and PayOuts together on a single platform.

Our technology supports B2B payment needs across industries including travel, ticketing, insurance, warranty, loyalty and rewards, media, and advertising.

We're building a culture where people have a voice, teams work collaboratively, and employees have the autonomy to solve problems and make an impact.

What You'll Own:

As an Enterprise Support Engineer II, you'll serve as a technical owner for key business systems and applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own and support ConnexPay's enterprise business application portfolio
  • Resolve complex configuration, access, identity, integration, and data issues
  • Administer Microsoft 365
  • Support Exchange Online
  • Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID identity and access
  • Handle user provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Manage groups, permissions, and role-based access
  • Configure and troubleshoot Conditional Access
  • Support SSO integrations
  • Maintain security and business application configurations
  • Manage patching and system updates
  • Support application licensing, renewals, and vendor relationships
  • Be the Level II Escalation Point

When Level I can't solve it, you'll help take it across the finish line.
You'll:

  • Troubleshoot complex escalated technical issues
  • Diagnose the underlying cause rather than applying temporary fixes
  • Determine what should be resolved directly versus returned as a coaching opportunity
  • Mentor Level I engineers
  • Transfer knowledge—not just ticket answers
  • Improve troubleshooting standards and documentation
  • Help strengthen overall support coverage and effectiveness
  • Find the Root Cause

We don't want to solve the same ticket 50 times.
You'll analyze:

  • Ticket trends
  • Repeat incidents
  • Employee feedback
  • System behavior
  • Application configuration
  • Access issues
  • Integration failures

Then you'll work to eliminate the root cause, automate repetitive work, and measure whether the solution actually improves resolution time.

Hands-on experience with:

  • PowerShell

is highly valuable in this role.

Partner With the Business:

You'll gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders, understand what they're trying to accomplish, and translate those needs into practical technical solutions.

You'll also help employees successfully adopt new applications, configurations, and processes through documentation, communication, and user enablement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Relevant Microsoft certifications are also valued, including:

We're looking for someone who doesn't stop at:

“I fixed it.”

We want someone who asks:

“Why did it happen, and how do we keep it from happening again?”

Own the Platform. Solve the Root Cause. Raise the Standard.

Apply today to join ConnexPay as an Enterprise Support Engineer II.
