Project Coordinator
Empire Cooler Service has been a leading supplier of commercial refrigeration and ice-making equipment in the Chicago area since 1932. As experts in commercial refrigeration, we sell, lease, and service equipment for some of the largest restaurants, hotels, and hospitality groups throughout the United States.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Coordinator to help manage projects from initial planning through completion while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules and facilitating communication between internal teams, customers, vendors, and management. This role ensures that projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, in accordance with customer expectations and company standards.
- Responsibilities:
- Work closely with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
- Proven ability to manage and adapt project timelines in fast-paced environments to achieve optimal results
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in accordance with the timeline and deliverables requirements.
- Maintain a project performance database for tracking real-time progress and project achievements.
- Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
- Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources
- Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers
Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in project coordination
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients
- Proven success in working with all levels of management
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
