Electrical Service Manager - AJ Long Electric (Fairfax, VA)
AJ Long Electric is a 30-year family residential electrical company in Fairfax, VA. We have more work coming in than we can schedule. We're hiring a Service Manager to help build and lead our service team, run estimates, and keep every scheduled job covered.
What You'll Do:
- Help build and lead our service team: recruit, train and check the work of our electricians and helpers
- Run estimates by video or on site, and help the team with theirs
- Pick up and run jobs when a tech calls out, so no customer is left waiting
- Run residential service and install work: troubleshooting, panels, service upgrades and EV chargers
- Hold the standard: show up when we say we will, give an honest assessment every time, and do the work right
What You Need:
- Virginia Master Electrician license (Journeyman with strong leadership experience considered)
- 7+ years of residential service experience, including 2+ years as a service manager, lead or foreman
- Expert-level troubleshooting
- Comfortable running Housecall Pro or similar field software from a phone or tablet
- Good driving record and able to pass a background check
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $110,000 to $150,000 based on experience and production, plus bonus opportunities
