IT ADMIN
Ogden, UT | On-Site | Reports to VP of Systems (Jordan Brandley)
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is HydroJug's single IT seat — a lean, high-ownership role designed for someone who can run workplace IT end to end without a team underneath them. You will own endpoint management, identity, helpdesk, license management, and vendor relationships for the entire org. The right person thrives in a lean environment and takes pride in keeping things running reliably.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Endpoint Management — Provision, configure, and manage all employee laptops (Mac/PC), mobile devices, and printers; maintain device inventory and enforce security standards
- Identity & Access Management — Administer SSO (Google Workspace, Okta, or equivalent) and MFA across the org; manage user provisioning/deprovisioning; enforce least-privilege access
- Helpdesk — Be the first line of support for employee IT issues; resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and account access issues promptly
- License Management — Track SaaS subscriptions, manage renewals and seat counts, and identify consolidation opportunities
- Vendor Relationships — Own day-to-day relationships with IT vendors, ISPs, and managed service providers; escalate when needed
- IT Policy & Documentation — Maintain IT policies, onboarding/offboarding procedures, and runbooks
- Security Hygiene — Ensure endpoint patching, antivirus, disk encryption, and security baselines are maintained across the fleet
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–5 years in an IT admin, IT support, or systems administrator role
- Experience managing Mac and/or Windows endpoints at the org level (Jamf, Intune, or equivalent MDM)
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration
- Hands-on experience with SSO and MFA administration (Okta, Google SSO, or equivalent)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently and close tickets without escalation
- Strong organizational skills — you track everything, follow up proactively, and nothing falls through the cracks
- Comfortable being the only IT person; you own the domain rather than waiting for direction
