**Job Summary
**
We are seeking an experienced NDI Technician to perform Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI/NDT) of materials, components, and systems without causing damage. The technician will use approved inspection methods to verify that parts and processes meet customer engineering requirements, applicable specifications, and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities
**

Perform Non-Destructive Inspection using methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Thermography, Shearography, Eddy Current, and Radiography.

Set up, calibrate, standardize, and operate NDI equipment in accordance with approved procedures and applicable process standards.

Process and inspect parts, interpret inspection results, and determine acceptance or rejection based on approved specifications and engineering requirements.

Establish inspection techniques from approved general procedures or work instructions and obtain appropriate technical approval.

Perform system performance checks and maintain required inspection documentation and records.

Identify, document, and report non-conformances in accordance with applicable specifications, processes, and procedures.

Provide technical guidance and supervision to trainees and assist with their development in NDI processes.

Conduct audit surveillance of NDI processes to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.

For Level III responsibilities, interpret applicable codes, standards, specifications, and contractual requirements governing NDT methods.

Support technical responsibility for NDT facilities, equipment, procedures, and personnel.

Prepare, review, verify, and approve NDI procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy, as applicable.

Provide training, examination, and certification support for NDI personnel in accordance with applicable requirements.
**Required Skills & Experience
**
• Hands-on experience with Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• Experience with UT methods including:
Phased Array
Pulse-Echo
Shear Wave
Through Transmission
• Ability to set up and standardize UT equipment and interpret inspection results.
• Working knowledge of NDI/NDT procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Experience documenting inspection results and identifying non-conformances.
**Education & Certification Requirements
**

3-4 years of relevant experience
-
Ultrasonic Testing Level I Certification.
-
Ultrasonic Testing Level II Certification.
-
40 hours of formal UT Level I training.
-
40 hours of formal UT Level II training.
-
800+ hours of documented Ultrasonic Testing On-the-Job Training (OJT).
-
NAS 410 certification or Equivalent.
You should be proficient in:
- Phase Arrey
- Ultrasonic Testing
- UT Testing
- Shear Weave
