Job DescriptionData Center Project ManagerRESPONSIBILITIES• Lead and manage multiple concurrent site projects — including Network Fiber Audit, Run Ops Activities, and AI Racking (installation and related prep) — prioritizing safety, scope, schedule, and budget alignment.• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for each initiative; manage resources (labor, equipment, materials) effectively across all workstreams.• Track progress, risks, and dependencies; proactively identify and manage change events, applying best practices for change management and escalating issues early to leadership.• Coordinate with internal teams (operations, engineering, facilities) and external vendors/contractors; monitor vendor performance to ensure optimal results.• Enforce safety protocols and site procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and a culture of safety excellence.• Maintain quality control through consistent documentation, including schedules, status reports, meeting notes, and change logs.• Drive site readiness activities and verify installation/completion against defined requirements and acceptance criteria.• Communicate project status, risks, and priorities clearly and consistently to internal and external stakeholders through regular updates.• Build trusted relationships with clients and partners, representing field needs and advocating for operational priorities.• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability in response to evolving industry demands.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of telecom construction industry experience in a management or leadership role.
    • Knowledge of low voltage/fiber, cable management, and cable audits
    • Cost forecasting, and budgeting.
    • Prepare and lead presentations and briefings
    • Safety enforcement, Quality Control and change management
    • Monitor vendor performance, approve invoices, and track project expenditures.
  • Assist in leading 40-60+ resources (technicians, project admin, safety personnel, and construction manager)
  • Prior experience managing large data center or structured cabling construction projects highly preferred.
  • Experience across multiple contract and delivery models (GMP, design, build, fixed price, etc.).
  • Proficiency - MS Office, Primavera P6, SPI (Scheduling Performance Index), CPI (Cost Performance Index), Bluebeam, Procore, Textura
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • OSHA 30 (if they don’t have it will need to be obtained within 60 days of starting)
    • BICSI RCDD
    • BICSI RTPM
    • PMI PMP
