Role: Developer Premium III
Location: Washington, DC 20433
Duration: 6 Months – Long Term
Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon
Developer 's Skills : SQL, Dremio, Python, Java Experience, Numerix OneView preferable, Capital Markets products Experience with Market Data, Derivative products and Valuations
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and services
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Integrate third-party APIs, microservices, and backend systems as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong proficiency in Java (8+)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
