Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $26.00–$30.00/hr (W2)
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Princeton/Plainsboro, NJ (100% onsite)
Duration: ~2-month temporary assignment
We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support a Quality team in a production environment. You’ll help ensure product batches meet specifications, support investigations, and partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and compliance.
What you’ll do
- Perform floor/production walkthroughs (Gemba walks) to verify batches meet specifications at key stages (mixing, pre-pack, HACCP checkpoints, etc.)
- Support nonconformance investigations and CAPA-style follow-ups
- Monitor overdue actions in the quality system and support document control
- Review documentation, analytical results, specifications, and deviations prior to product release
- Provide updates/reporting on quality trends and issues to leadership
- Identify/process continuous improvement opportunities and support investigation effectiveness
- Support plant 5S efforts
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience (preference for fragrance, food, or chemical manufacturing)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality systems (ex: SAP, LIMS, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and communication skills
