About the Role

Pinnacle Partners is recruiting for a System Administrator to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for the installation and support of systems, networks and hardware in a variety of environments.

\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Install hardware including PC’s, Windows Servers, firewalls, and monitoring tools</li>
\n
<li>Involvement in designing systems and networks for multiple solutions at different clients</li>
\n
<li>Provide initial set-ups, upgrades, replacements, repairs, and long-term support of equipment</li>
\n
<li>Design infrastructure for client sites to support their control system software</li>
\n
<li>Patch and upgrade servers</li>
\n
<li>Ensure hardware installed can run their automation software correctly</li>
\n
<li>Interact with external customers to understand troubleshooting needs</li>
\n
<li>Travel to customers sites as needed</li>
\n</ul>
\n
 
\n
Requirements:
\n
<ul>\n
<li>2+ years of technical experience, with exposure in Windows Servers and Networking tasks</li>
\n
<li>Associate’s degree</li>
\n
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
\n
<li>Ability to travel locally</li>
\n</ul>
\n
 
\n
Preferred:
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Exposure to controls systems</li>
\n
<li>Manufacturing industry experience</li>
\n</ul>
