Role- Software Engineer – Infrastructure Automation
\n

Position Summary
\n
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Contractor) with deep expertise in Red Hat Ansible
\n
Automation Platform (AAP), Ansible, and one of the coding languages Python or Go to design,
\n
develop, and maintain enterprise infrastructure automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have
\n
strong experience automating large-scale infrastructure across storage, compute, network, cloud,
\n
and hybrid environments while developing scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
● Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure automation solutions using
\n
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including Automation Controller, Automation
\n
Hub, Execution Environments, Workflow Templates, and Job Templates.
\n
● Develop reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and Python automation to
\n
automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, compliance, monitoring, and
\n
operational workflows.
\n
● Build REST API integrations and automation frameworks to integrate with enterprise
\n
platforms, cloud services, ITSM tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
\n
● Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, compute, networking, cloud, and platform
\n
engineering teams to automate infrastructure lifecycle management across on-premises and
\n
cloud environments.
\n
● Troubleshoot complex automation and infrastructure issues, perform code reviews, testing,
\n
validation, and deployments, and maintain technical documentation and automation best
\n
practices.
\n
● Utilize Git, YAML, Jinja2, Shell scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Linux administration,
\n
and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable automation solutions.
\n
● Support automation for AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, monitoring and observability
\n
platforms, and enterprise infrastructure while driving continuous improvement and
\n
operational excellence.
\n
Required Qualifications
\n
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
\n
practical experience.
\n
● Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and/or
\n
Ansible automation in enterprise environments.
\n
● Proficiency in Python and/or Go, Shell scripting, Linux, REST APIs, Git, and Infrastructure as
\n
Code (IaC).
\n
● Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
\n
● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps/CI-CD practices is
\n
preferred.
