A growing life sciences company in the North Suburbs is hiring a Financial Systems Manager. They have products in market and a pipeline in clinical trials, and the finance team is building for what comes next.

This is a new, hands-on seat. You will own the finance systems and help lead a new ERP build next year. You will be the person who makes the systems, the reports, and the controls work together.

What you'll own

- Finance systems today and through a new ERP build next year
- Helping pick, design, build, and launch the new ERP with the vendor and team
- Reports and dashboards that tie back to the books
- SOC 1 work, and point person for auditors on systems and controls
- System access, controls, and clean data
- Partnering with accounting, FP&A, operations, and IT
- Finding manual work and fixing or automating it
- Room to grow into cybersecurity, CRM, and AI projects

What you bring
\n
- \n
- 5+ years in finance systems, ERP, or accounting with a heavy systems focus
- Hands-on ERP implementation experience
- Strong report building skills and a solid grasp of the accounting behind them
- SOC 1 experience and time working with external auditors
- Clear communicator who works well across teams and takes direction
- Proactive and hands-on. You get things done.

- Great Plains / Dynamics GP
- NetSuite, D365, Sage Intacct, or a similar ERP
- Manufacturing, med device, or life sciences background
- CPA, CISA, or similar

Details

- Hybrid: 2 days a week onsite in Deerfield, some flex
- Base: $140K to $150K plus bonus
- Direct line to the hiring leader, quick process
