ABOUT US
Fuquay, Inc. is a diversified site construction company specializing in spray-applied protective lining systems used for structural rehabilitation, infiltration control, and corrosion protection on manholes, lift stations, wet wells, tanks, and other critical infrastructure.
THE ROLE
We're growing our Dallas crew and hiring Infrastructure Rehabilitation Technicians — hands-on confined-space rehabilitation work with real advancement paths for people who show up ready to learn and put in the effort. This is structural lining work inside manholes, lift stations, wet wells, and similar structures. Technicians work on one of two sides of the crew: **Preppers** and **Sprayers**.
**Preppers** get the structure ready — pressure washing, blasting, and cleaning concrete, masonry, steel, or fiberglass surfaces to spec ahead of application.
**Sprayers** apply the protective lining using certified spray equipment and procedures, working closely with crew leads to hit spec on every job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Enter and work inside confined spaces (manholes, wet wells, lift stations, tanks) following all required safety protocols and using proper fall protection/retrieval equipment
* Prepare substrate surfaces per spec — pressure washing, abrasive or shot blasting, or acid etching depending on the material (concrete, masonry, steel, fiberglass)
* Apply protective lining using certified plural-component spray application methods
* Operate and maintain crew equipment and company vehicles
* Follow all job site safety protocols, including confined-space entry procedures
* Work efficiently as part of a field crew
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Self-motivated, reliable, and looking to advance
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and around physical, demanding field work
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required — crew operates company vehicles to and from job sites)
* Must be at least 23 years of age — our commercial auto insurance policy requires it for anyone driving company vehicles
* Prior experience with spray-applied coatings, confined-space entry, or underground utility/infrastructure work a plus — but not required. We train the right people, including manufacturer-certified application training for qualifying candidates.
LOCATION
Based out of our Dallas, TX office, with travel to active job sites across the DFW area.
