ABT is seeking an IT Integrations & Support Specialist to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys working directly with customers, designing technology solutions, and solving complex technical challenges.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical resource for ABT's Solutions and Integrations portfolio, including VoIP phone systems, IP security camera systems, physical access control systems, and related network infrastructure. This position also provides backup support to our Managed IT Services team as needed. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, project coordination, and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Responsibilities Primary Duties: IT Solutions & Integrations

  • Serve as a technical resource for ABT's technology solutions, including VoIP, security camera, access control, and printer software solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and technical walk-throughs to evaluate client infrastructure, cabling, and network readiness.
  • Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and support IP security camera systems, NVRs/DVRs, and management platforms.
  • Install and support physical access control systems, including card readers, access panels, and credential management solutions.
  • Assess client networks and identify infrastructure requirements for successful project implementation.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to scope projects, develop proposals, and provide technical recommendations.
  • Work with manufacturers and vendors on product specifications, licensing, and technical support matters.
  • Create and maintain site surveys, network diagrams, project documentation, and implementation records.

Secondary Duties: Managed IT Support

  • Provide backup support for Managed IT and Solutions helpdesk requests as needed.
  • Support and troubleshoot printers, copiers, scanning devices, and related technologies.
  • Participate in IT projects, including hardware deployments, network installations, and technology upgrades.
  • Document troubleshooting efforts, resolutions, and technical recommendations within company systems.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting network, server, and desktop environments.
  • Experience installing and supporting VoIP phone systems.
  • Experience installing and supporting IP security camera systems.
  • Experience installing and supporting access control systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations throughout Colorado.

Preferred

  • MSP or IT helpdesk experience.
  • Experience with Meraki networking equipment.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNP, MCP, or similar certifications.
  • Linux experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in a variety of customer environments.
  • Frequent local travel to customer sites.
