About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional hands-on CTO / Co-Founder to lead technology strategy, product architecture, and engineering execution for an early-stage AI company focused on transforming complex financial and operational workflows within a highly regulated industry.

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded venture at the earliest stages and play a foundational role in building both the product and the company. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial drive and the ability to move quickly from concept to scalable commercial product.

This is not an advisory role. The successful candidate will be expected to actively design, build, and lead the development of the platform while recruiting and managing the initial engineering team.

What You'll Build

The company is developing an AI-powered platform that leverages workflow automation, data integrations, and advanced analytics to streamline complex business processes, reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase operational visibility.

Key areas of focus include:

AI-powered workflow automation
Business process optimization
Data ingestion and normalization
Secure API integrations
Transaction and workflow management systems
Operational intelligence and decision support
Scalable cloud-based infrastructure

Responsibilities

Own the technology vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap
Build and launch the initial product from concept through production
Design secure, scalable, and high-performance systems
Evaluate and select the technical stack and development tools
Develop AI-enabled workflow automation capabilities
Lead integrations with third-party systems and data sources
Recruit, hire, and mentor the initial engineering team
Collaborate closely with executive leadership, investors, advisors, and customers
Scale the platform from MVP to commercial deployment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
10+ years of software engineering and technical leadership experience
Proven experience building and launching software products from concept to production
Strong hands-on software engineering and system architecture background
Experience designing scalable, secure, production-grade applications
Experience leading engineering teams and technical roadmaps
Strong product mindset and ability to work in fast-moving environments
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building AI-powered products or workflow automation platforms
Experience in regulated, data-intensive, transaction-heavy industries
Experience with enterprise SaaS, fintech, healthcare technology, payments, or workflow platforms
Startup, founder, or early-stage company experience
Experience integrating external systems through APIs and data pipelines
Experience working directly with customers and executive stakeholders

This individual should be comfortable balancing hands-on engineering work with team leadership, product development, and strategic decision-making.
