Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced IT leader to oversee infrastructure operations and workplace technology for our organization in Troy, Michigan. This role combines people management with hands-on technical ownership, guiding the performance, security, and continuous improvement of core systems, networks, and end-user platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise across Microsoft technologies and enterprise infrastructure while fostering a reliable, efficient technology environment that supports day-to-day business operations.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the strategy, administration, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and workplace technology services.
• Lead, coach, and support technical team members while setting priorities and ensuring high standards for service delivery and operational performance.
• Take ownership of technical architecture decisions, resolve complex escalations, and provide senior-level guidance on infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage the health, availability, and scalability of core platforms, with particular focus on Microsoft-based environments and end-user computing tools.
• Oversee configuration, maintenance, and optimization of directory services, device management solutions, and identity synchronization platforms such as Active Directory, Intune, and Azure AD Connect.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the employee technology experience through dependable hardware, connectivity, and support processes.
• Establish and maintain secure network and infrastructure practices, including administration of Cisco networking environments and related systems.
• Drive infrastructure modernization efforts, process improvements, and platform lifecycle planning to support business growth and operational resilience.

•7+ years of experience in infrastructure, network, or end-user computing roles

•3+ years in a technical leadership and people management role

•Understanding of ITIL, desktop support, and collaboration tools

•Experience in hybrid cloud and Azure environment

•Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft enterprise platform

•Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)

•Experience managing vendors and service providers

•Ability to translate technical complexity into business-relevant outcomes
