The Role

\n

  • Global Cybersecurity is seeking a contract Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of small to medium level projects to achieve stated objectives.
  • \n

  • This role reports to the Cybersecurity Program and Performance Manager and will be accountable for the delivery of various Cybersecurity-related projects.

  • \n

Experience:

\n

    \n
  • More than four years of project management experience.
  • \n

  • Experience working on project and business management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams, MS PowerBI, etc.).

  • \n

Education:

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field.
  • \n

  • Recognized Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 2 and/or Agile) is preferred but not required.

  • \n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Managing the implementation of small to medium projects.
  • \n

  • Provides overall leadership and support to project team members.
  • \n

  • Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks. Manages the
  • \n

  • project risks and issues and escalates accordingly.
  • \n

  • Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders, and with Finance and develops ROI, IRR and other financial measures.
  • \n

  • Interfaces very closely with the IT organization in planning and implementation of Cybersecurity projects / solutions.
  • \n

  • Manages stakeholders’ communication and escalates accordingly.
  • \n

  • Adheres to program and project governance (controls).
  • \n

  • Plans the overall project and monitors the progress, and performs Daily project management throughout the project’s life cycle.
  • \n

  • Manages the project’s budget and financial performance.
  • \n

  • Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
  • \n

  • Manages and utilizes resources.
  • \n

  • Aligns the deliverables (outputs) to the project’s “outcome” with the aid of the Cybersecurity Leadership Team and the Business Change Manager.
  • \n

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • \n

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • Strong project management and team leadership skills.
  • \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sponsor reporting and escalation experience.
  • \n

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • \n

  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
  • \n

  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • \n

  • Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success.
  • \n

  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (Eg. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
  • \n

  • In-depth understanding of project management concepts.

  • \n

Compensation:

\n

    \n
  • $65-72/hr
