Role Overview:

Veranova is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) across global operations. This individual will act as the key liaison between technical, operational, and functional teams to ensure the successful integration of D365 with CDMO project workflows, particularly in API manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer engagement processes.

Please note: This is a temporary contract role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between CDMO operations and D365 implementation goals.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risk mitigation, and change management strategies specific to the API manufacturing environment.
  • Work closely with IT and business teams to support the roll-out and configuration of D365 modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and CRM.
  • Assist in mapping current CDMO business processes to D365 capabilities and help drive business process reengineering.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between CDMO operations (R&D, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Supply Chain) and the D365 project team.
  • Collaborate with functional leads and subject matter experts to capture requirements, resolve gaps, and ensure user adoption.
  • Support master data governance, user acceptance testing (UAT), training coordination, and go-live activities.
  • Identify and mitigate operational disruptions during transition to D365.
  • Coordinate stabilization activities and continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation.
  • Support performance tracking and KPI reporting using D365 dashboards and analytics.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Business, IT, or related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CDMO industry, preferably with a focus on API development and manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cross-functional projects, especially ERP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Supply Chain Management, Finance, or CRM modules).
  • Strong understanding of GxP, GMP, and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with CDMO business models and client service delivery.
  • Experience with change management and business transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
