The Door Hardware Installer will support commercial construction projects at local job sites, reporting to the project manager. This role is responsible for accurately installing, measuring, and adjusting door hardware to support safe, reliable, and properly functioning openings.
Responsibilities
- Install door hardware on commercial construction projects.
- Install locksets and door closers.
- Perform field measurements for door hardware installations.
- Adjust hardware to ensure proper operation and fit.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in door hardware installation.
- Trade school coursework in carpentry, locksmithing, or construction.
- Knowledge of door hardware installation, locksets, and exit devices.
- Experience with door and frame preparation.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform field measurements.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
