Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Wind River Helix, VxWorks)

Job Description

We’re hiring experienced Embedded Software Engineers to support the development of real-time, mission-critical systems. This role is a strong fit for engineers with hands-on experience developing embedded software using VxWorks and/or Wind River Helix in aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical environments.

What You’ll Do:

\n
• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for real-time systems.

\n

• Develop primarily in C/C++ within embedded/RTOS environments.

\n

• Work with VxWorks and/or Wind River Helix development platforms.

\n

• Debug software at the hardware/software interface and troubleshoot complex system issues.

\n

• Participate in software integration, verification, and system-level testing.

\n

• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and software engineering teams.

\n

Ideal Background:

\n

\n
• Strong embedded C/C++ development experienceHands-on experience with VxWorks, Wind River Helix, or related Wind River technologies.

\n

• Experience with RTOS and real-time embedded systems.

\n

• Background in aerospace, avionics, defense, or other safety-critical products is highly desirable.

\n

• Experience with embedded Linux, device drivers, BSPs, low-level debugging, or hardware interfaces is a plus.
