PAY RANGE:
$24-$27 per hour, based on experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for working with the IT Department to ensure the company has reliable connectivity, application availability, and information security. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Primary responsibility is to support end users (aka our awesome employees) either in person or via remote support.
- Operates the company IT/ERP Service Desk with a group of great IT team members
- Implements service desk best practices in day-to-day operations
- Handles about 80% of incidents and selected service requests from users
- Responds to help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support across the company.
- Properly escalate, expedite and route all incoming support incidents.
- Follow up with end users to ensure issues are resolved.
- Develop IT skills and proficiencies through training and support.
- Performs after-hour support on a rotating on-call schedule.
- Manages IT inventory and the disposal of old hardware
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Collaborative communication style and techniques with a variety of people
- Having received or is working towards a degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience supporting IT Help Desk operations.
- General understanding of networking, PCs, Macs, cloud technologies, and telephony technology is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This is a primarily sedentary role, requiring sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal.
- Occasional standing, bending, walking and lifting is also required.
- Employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise.
- Occasional exposure to typical warehouse environment and hazards.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
