The Facility Operations Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our Dealerships and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors. This role performs routine maintenance tasks, responds to repair requests, and supports preventive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, crack filling and seal coating parking lots.
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and common spaces.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Construction Laborer experience highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facility operations/building maintenance or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction and HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Basic computer skills for work order tracking and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift or carry over 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to listen and take direction.
Work Environment:
- Will require travel (possibly overnight) to our locations in WI, IL and IA.
- Use of a company vehicle – requires a valid DL.
- 8-hour shifts, no weekends.
- Ability to work overtime if required.
- May require on-call availability for emergencies.

Compensation:
- $22.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
