Summary

Experienced Senior Infrastructure Lead with a proven ability to lead enterprise system administration across multi-platform server environments (IBM AIX/iSeries, Apple MacOS, Linux, and Windows virtual machines). The role is responsible for maintaining system security baselines, managing annual security revalidations, managing virtual machine environments, coordinating data center migrations, conducting asset inventory audits, and executing user access lifecycle controls.

The Senior Infrastructure & Compliance Lead plays a core operational and governance role within the Digital Solutions Infrastructure Team (DSIT) at HCL Software.

\n


\n

Core Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Manage and maintain diverse enterprise infrastructure platforms, including:
  • \n

  • IBM Power/AIX Systems: IBM S822 Power8, Power9 S924, and P10 frames.
  • \n

  • IBM i / iSeries / OS400 Systems: Core platform management and compliance exception processing.
  • \n

  • Apple Mac Infrastructure: Mac Pro, Mac Studio, and Mac Mini build servers used in development pipelines.
  • \n

  • Virtualization & Storage: VMware ESXi hypervisors, vCenter, MyCloud infrastructure, AWS infrastructure, and LUN volume mappings for these systems.
  • \n

  • Reconcile physical hardware rack positions, virtual machine inventories, and legacy system records across data centers.
  • \n

  • Act as primary administrator responsible for revoking system and infrastructure privileges during employee offboardings.
  • \n

  • Deprovision user accounts and access grants across multiple enterprise platforms:
  • \n

  • SafeLinx and IRIS Active Directory (AD)
  • \n

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS IAM, EC2, Workspaces)
  • \n

  • VMware vCenter (VC02) and MyCloud environments
  • \n

  • Lead infrastructure move activities, retirement requests, and physical hardware cutovers during data center migrations
  • \n

  • Handle hardware lifecycle management, including legacy frame decommissions (e.g., Power8/AIX frames, Dell blade enclosures) and hard drive removal/tracking prior to vendor wiping or destruction.
  • \n

  • Serve as the designated CFIUS Compliance Admin and Implementation Leader for the System Security Baseline Environment (SSBE-MGT).
  • \n

  • Review, manage, and process security exceptions, including Information Security Management System (ISMS) compliance tickets and platform exceptions (such as BigFix/BES Client exceptions on IBM i / OS400 platforms).
  • \n

  • Ensure strict adherence to access restrictions, data classifications, and compliance logging standards across federal IT server infrastructure on a monthly basis via the auditing process.
  • \n

  • Ensure CFIUS SSBE compliance with security, quality, and operational standards.
  • \n

  • Support project managers with guidance, prioritization, decision-making, and resource alignment.
  • \n

  • Foster continuous improvement through retrospectives, process optimization, and best-practice adoption.
  • \n

Skills & Competencies

    \n
  • Operating Systems: IBM AIX, IBM i / OS400, macOS, Linux (RedHat/Tumbleweed), VMware ESXi, Windows Server.
  • \n

  • Enterprise Platforms & Cloud: VMware vCenter/MyCloud, AWS (EC2, IAM, Workspaces), IRIS Active Directory, SafeLinx, BigFix, CrowdStrike, Exabeam SIEM.
  • \n

  • Infrastructure Operations: Data center rack management, NetApp storage/LUN mapping, hardware decommissioning, user identity lifecycle management.
  • \n

  • Compliance/CFIUS Frameworks: CFIUS regulatory standards, Facility Access Control Lists (FACL), System Security Baseline Environment (SSBE), ISMS audit policies.
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, or similar field.
  • \n

  • 5+ years of experience managing/administrating multi-platform server environments
  • \n

  • Certifications (a plus): Server Administrator certifications
