Position Summary

\n

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a large-scale HR systems transformation involving the migration of employee, organizational, payroll, and related HR data from PeopleSoft to Workday. This individual will play a critical role in data extraction, profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure the successful migration of high-quality data into Workday. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and a proven track record supporting enterprise data migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Analyze, profile, and assess data quality within PeopleSoft HR, Payroll, Benefits, and related source systems.
  • \n

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Workday implementation teams to understand data requirements and transformation rules.
  • \n

  • Extract, cleanse, standardize, and validate data to support accurate migration into Workday.
  • \n

  • Identify data discrepancies, duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies; develop remediation recommendations.
  • \n

  • Perform data mapping between PeopleSoft and Workday data structures and document transformation requirements.
  • \n

  • Execute data validation, reconciliation, and audit processes to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain migration tracking reports, dashboards, and data quality metrics.
  • \n

  • Support mock conversions, test cycles, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production cutover activities.
  • \n

  • Create comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, mapping documents, validation scripts, and reconciliation reports.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to track issues, risks, and data-related dependencies.
  • \n

  • Assist in establishing data governance standards and best practices for data quality management.
  • \n

  • Investigate and resolve data migration issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • \n

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data migration, data governance, or HRIS projects.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting enterprise system migrations, preferably PeopleSoft to Workday.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of data quality, data cleansing, data validation, and reconciliation methodologies.
  • \n

  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to extract, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data validation techniques.
  • \n

  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • \n

  • Strong documentation skills with experience creating data mapping and business requirement documents.
  • \n

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

  • Prior experience with Workday HCM, PeopleSoft HR/Payroll, or other HRIS platforms.
  • \n

  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with Workday data conversion methodologies and deployment lifecycle.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Organizational data structures.
  • \n

  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • \n
