Job Title: Power Apps Deployment Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 3.5 – 5 Months (Contract)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Power Apps Deployment Specialist to transform an existing Power Apps solution into a standardized, portable, and deployable application package. The role involves ensuring the solution is scalable, well-documented, and easily deployable across multiple environments or organizations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Required Certifications:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified (e.g., MS-102, MS-900)
  • Microsoft Power BI Certified (PL-300)
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certified (e.g., PL-100, PL-400, PL-500, PL-600, PL-900)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a standardized, shareable application package for broader use across multiple organizations
• Ensure the solution is portable, scalable, and easy to deploy
• Utilize Microsoft technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint
• Provide complete technical documentation, including:
  • Setup and installation instructions
  • System requirements and dependencies
  • Configuration and implementation guidelines
  • System architecture diagrams
  • Workflow and process flow diagrams
  • Licensing and usage details
• Develop comprehensive Operations Plan (Ops Plan) documentation, including:
  • System architecture and configurations
  • Workflows and integrations
  • Security controls
  • Backup and recovery procedures
  • Maintenance and support processes
• Create user guides for:
  • System administrators
  • Application administrators
  • End users
• Document:
  • Prerequisites (hardware, software, network, security)
  • Required tools, licenses, and dependencies
  • Recommended roles, skillsets, and technical competencies
  • Troubleshooting procedures and common issue resolution
• Provide writing samples demonstrating strong technical documentation skills
• Access systems securely via VPN using personal equipment in compliance with security policies

Required Skills:

• Experience with application packaging and deployment
• Minimum 3 years of experience with:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • SharePoint
  • Web development technologies
• Ability to:
  • Interpret technical requirements and draft pseudocode
  • Produce high-quality technical, visual, and written documentation
  • Evaluate existing applications and recommend improvements
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Application development principles
  • User experience (UX) design
  • Technical writing
  • Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and limitations
