Your Role & Impact
As an Assistant Project Manager (APM), you’ll work closely with our experienced Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed quality expectations. You’ll play a key role in coordinating project details, collaborating with subcontractors, and supporting the team throughout all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities
Support the pre-construction process by preparing RFP packages
Assist in budget management, tracking expenses, and maintaining project documentation
Organize and document project meetings, ensuring seamless communication
Monitor project milestones and generate progress reports
Work with subcontractors on pay applications and change orders
Update and communicate project schedules to keep everything on track
Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions
Partner with the superintendent and project team to drive project success
Assist in managing the closeout process for seamless project completion
What We’re Looking For
✅ 2-5 years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor
✅ Strong understanding of project management in the construction industry
✅ Proficiency in project software (CMiC, ProCore, Bluebeam, Adobe, TimberScan, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project)
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
✅ Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about quality
✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong relationship-building skills with a commitment to teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
✔ A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business-related fields
✔ Previous experience working on commercial job sites
