POSITION SUMMARY
The Event Host Supervisor elevates the guest experience by setting the tone for exceptional
hospitality and service across all events. This role leads, coaches, and supports the Event
Host Team to deliver thoughtful, detail-oriented, and memorable experiences for guests.

The Event Host Lead thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-
solving skills, and maintains a calm, professional presence at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Model clear, respectful, and professional communication with guests, team members, and leadership.
  • Ensure timely responses to guest needs and requests (within 5 minutes whenever possible).
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service across all event spaces.
  • Support guest needs related to events, activities, room setups, and AV.
  • Oversee organization and readiness of AV equipment.
  • Lead daily Event Host huddles and support team alignment.
  • Create and manage Event Host schedules.
  • Prepare guest-facing materials including key packets, signage, and pre-scheduled guest communications.
  • Track inventory and communicate ordering needs to appropriate team members.
  • Coach team members through performance challenges and elevate concerns to leadership when needed.
  • Performs successfully to Lone Rock’s standards in the Event Host position (serving, food running, bussing, and hosting).
  • Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented presence during escalated guest situations.
  • Ensure compliance with break and labor policies.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the guest experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and with warmth. Capable of listening
attentively and responding thoughtfully to both guests and team members.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.


REASONING ABILITY
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate guest concerns, team dynamics,
and operational challenges. Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making aligned
with both guest experience and business needs.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending, lifting (up
to 50 pounds), and repetitive movements. Work may involve exposure to common
hospitality risks such as hot surfaces, liquids, and busy environments.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily indoors at a high-elevation mountain property. The role
requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events, and may involve shared
or fast-paced workspaces.
