Role Overview

As a Research Project Management II, you will independently manage significant aspects of medium-sized projects or lead small to moderate research projects from start-up to closeout. You'll collaborate closely with leadership, including Principal Investigators and Senior Bioscientific Staff, to ensure the successful execution of research initiatives. Your role is critical in overseeing day-to-day operations and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

What You Will Do

  • Manage key aspects of medium-sized projects or lead small to moderate research projects from start-up to closeout.
  • Collaborate with leadership, including Principal Investigators and Senior Bioscientific Staff, to ensure project success.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of team members working on research studies and projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols, regulations, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven (7) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years of research experience; OR Master's degree in a related field with two (2) years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year of research experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing small to moderate-sized projects.
  • Strong customer service, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAP-M or PMI Project Management Professional certification or similar.
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification.
