We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Rocky Mount, VA, to uphold and advance our high standards of product excellence and compliance.
The Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of the quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer specifications, and industry standards (such as ISO and BRC). This role will lead the QA/QC team, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product integrity and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of quality management experience in food packaging, food manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of BRC and ISO standards.
- Experience with absorption pad production, nonwoven materials, or similar packaging technologies preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., Q-Pulse, EtQ, or similar).
- Certification in HACCP, PCQI, or Six Sigma a plus.
- Full-time, on-site position located at our Rocky Mount, VA facility.
- Primarily office-based with frequent interaction on the production floor.
- Occasional travel for supplier or customer visits and training sessions.
