We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer join our team in Richmond, VA!

Summit is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Senior Systems Engineer has primary responsibility for Sharepoint and Brooklyn Vendor Assurance Administration.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

SharePoint Administrator
1. Build and Maintain SharePoint Server Subscription Edition (On Premise) server farms (Production and Dev) consisting of SharePoint, Office Online, and SQL Servers. (11 Servers total).
2. Develop, Deploy and Maintain custom Software in SharePoint (ie DOTS; Deliverable and Obligation Tracking System).
3. Resolve tickets regarding these environments.
4. Conduct training sessions for Suppliers and VITA for DOTS.

Brooklyn Vendor Assurance Administrator
1. Develop new version / functionality of DOTS in BVA SAAS environment.
2. ETL (Extract, Transact, Load) data from old DOTS to new environment.
3. Set up authentication / access groups.
4. Administer and maintain environments.

Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Sharepoint and Brooklyn Vendor Assurance Administrator to include
• Bachelors of Science Degree
• Excellent communications skills
• Preferred: Prior experience working with or for Commonwealth of VA Agency or VITA
• Located in Richmond, Virginia

Desired Skills/Certifications:

• 20+ Years of IT experience
