Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Security Consultant to support the secure handling, integration, transmission, and storage of enterprise application data in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The consultant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data security controls, database protection mechanisms, access governance, and integration security across enterprise systems and identity platforms.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Strong experience with Oracle Database Security, including:
- Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
- Oracle Audit Vault and Unified Auditing
- Privileged account controls and monitoring
- Database hardening and security standards
- Experience with PeopleSoft architecture, security tables, roles, permission lists, and application security.
- Knowledge of enterprise data integrations and web services, including SOAP, REST APIs, and API gateways.
- Understanding of data classification, sensitive data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance practices.
- Experience with enterprise data security tools such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Digital Rights Management (DRM), and cloud data monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of application security fundamentals, including:
- Session management
- Authentication and authorization
- Data protection and encryption
- Secure application access controls
- Familiarity with cloud database monitoring, including logs, events, alerts, and performance/security metrics.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience securing PeopleSoft environments hosted in cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure security services and best practices.
- Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity teams.
- Ability to document security controls, procedures, and recommendations effectively.
