WHAT WE DO:

We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.

Senior Windows Systems & Active Directory Administrator - Lead

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday onsite)

Duration: Contract to Hire after 3 Months

This person will be leading a team of 10+ people

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical lead for infrastructure and migration projects
• Administer and manage enterprise Active Directory environments
• Design and maintain Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and PKI services
• Troubleshoot and optimize Windows Server performance and authentication services
• Manage patching cycles, vulnerability scanning, and remediation efforts
• Monitor and resolve security vulnerabilities in compliance-driven environments
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and virtualization initiatives
• Support identity and access management solutions (Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, PingID)
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a team of engineers

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Active Directory in large enterprise environments
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Strong experience with AD architecture, replication, and Group Policy
• Experience with patching and vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tanium, Qualys)
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
• Experience leading infrastructure or migration projects
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud identity solutions (Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and identity federation tools (e.g., PingID)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware or cloud-based environments)
• Background in compliance-driven or regulated environments

Work Environment:

• Hybrid work model (onsite Tuesday through Thursday)
• Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance
• Leadership role managing a team of 10+ members
• Parking is available which is not reimbursable and it will cost approx. $95 per month

Pay rate: $59.54 - 72.93/hr and Salary on conversion will be $135K + 10% bonus
