Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing resources, deadlines, and deliverables across various project phases.
  • Lead projects from initial planning and scope development through execution, completion, and follow-up.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance, quality, purchasing, and other departments to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and develop corrective action plans to keep projects on schedule.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Review technical requirements, drawings, specifications, processes, and project documentation to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate technical challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Coordinate project resources, equipment, materials, personnel, and outside vendors as needed.
  • Track project budgets, costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, increased efficiency, and improved project execution.
  • Facilitate project meetings, establish action items, and ensure follow-up on outstanding deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and performance records.
  • Anticipate project risks and proactively address issues before they impact timelines, quality, or budget.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable quality, safety, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Communicate project expectations and deadlines clearly across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams without necessarily having direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement lessons learned from completed projects.
  • Prepare and present project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time.
  • Strong engineering and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven ability to identify project risks and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP, project management, or engineering software is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities and project requirements may change.

Required Experience

  • 5–7 years of project management or project leadership experience.
  • 3–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, technical, or related environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently from planning through completion.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, maintenance, quality, and leadership.
  • Proven experience identifying technical or operational challenges and implementing effective solutions.
