Job Description

DPP is seeking a Cable and Harness Technician for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.

Work Location: Onsite in Gilbert, AZ

\n

Duration: 12 months

\n

Terms: W2 Contract

\n

Work Authorization: US Citizen

\n


\n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Manufacture cable / harness products.
  • \n

  • Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawings.
  • \n

  • Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained, and company procedures are followed.
  • \n

  • Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.
  • \n

  • Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
  • \n

Required Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 2 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics.
  • \n

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
  • \n

  • Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.
  • \n

  • Experience reading drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • \n

  • Exceptional mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • \n

  • ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Crimping Experience.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • \n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • Graduate of Technical Trade School.
  • \n

  • Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship.
  • \n

  • Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.
  • \n
