Job Title: Project Manager/Data Center Site Lead
Location: Reno, NV
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead daily onsite data center operations and provide technical direction to Data Center Technicians.
- Oversee installation, rack-and-stack, cabling, deployment, troubleshooting, break/fix, and decommissioning of high-density compute and networking infrastructure.
- Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling (DLC) environments, including Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), cooling loops, manifolds, hoses, quick disconnects, and associated monitoring systems.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate response to liquid-cooling alarms, leaks, flow/pressure issues, temperature abnormalities, and CDU-related incidents, escalating to facilities or engineering teams as required.
- Monitor environmental and infrastructure conditions including power, cooling, temperature, humidity, and hardware health.
- Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause investigation, and escalation for critical infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate onsite work across engineering, networking, facilities, vendors, logistics, and remote operations teams.
- Manage technician priorities, work assignments, ticket queues, maintenance activities, and shift handoffs.
- Ensure accurate documentation, asset management, change-control procedures, SOPs/MOPs, and operational reporting.
- Enforce safety procedures and operational standards when working around electrical, mechanical, and liquid-cooled infrastructure.
What We Need to See
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments, including experience leading technicians or onsite operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of servers, GPU/compute systems, networking equipment, structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and power distribution.
- Experience supporting high-density compute and liquid-cooled data center environments strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of CDUs, DLC systems, cooling loops, leak detection, flow/pressure monitoring, and liquid-cooling operational procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, network connectivity, power, cooling, and environmental infrastructure.
- Experience with ticketing, DCIM, asset management, change management, and operational documentation.
- Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and serve as the primary onsite escalation point.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, 24x7 data center environment.
