Embedded Software Test Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain test strategies and plans for our embedded software products. You will create and manage test artifacts, ensure requirements traceability, and coordinate defect resolution. This is an opportunity to work on-site with state-of-the-art embedded systems in a role that supports career growth.

Responsibilities
Execute test cases per test plans, accurately reporting and logging defects.
Develop and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and manual/automated scripts.
Create and manage test schedules, monitoring progress and reporting on execution status.
Ensure requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
Manage defect tracking using Jira, coordinating resolution from identification to closure.
Administer configuration management for test environments and laboratory equipment.

Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2+ years of hands-on software testing experience; recent graduates with strong interest in testing are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages used in automation (e.g. Python, C, C++)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in New Freedom, PA.

Preferred Skills
Strong hands-on experience in test automation for embedded systems
Experience with embedded software testing tools and frameworks, and HP ALM
Experience with harness testing and regression testing
