As we continue to expand our presence in Florida, we're looking for an experienced Implementation Specialist to support our growing broker network and help develop our post-sale and technology coordination capabilities in the market.

The Role
\n
We're seeking a detail-oriented, technology-driven Implementation Specialist to manage and support new business installations, renewals, and ongoing benefit administration needs for our broker partners.
\n
\n
This role will serve as a key connection between brokers, carriers, and UPG's internal Employee Navigator team to ensure implementations and renewals are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with census and enrollment data, proficient in Excel, and experienced in the employee benefits industry.

This is also an opportunity to grow with UPG and take on increased leadership responsibility as we expand our post-sale service and technology operations throughout Florida.

What You'll Do

- Manage and track Employee Navigator renewals, including sending renewal materials, reviewing submissions, identifying missing information, and coordinating updates with internal teams.
- Support new Employee Navigator builds by gathering required information, distributing templates, and ensuring implementation teams have everything needed to complete builds accurately and on time.
- Convert census and enrollment data from Employee Navigator into carrier-specific census templates and submit completed materials to carriers.
- Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and UPG's Employee Navigator team to manage implementation timelines and resolve outstanding requirements.
- Assist brokers with new carrier installations, including census preparation, required documentation, approvals, and enrollment-related issues.
- Request and distribute Open Enrollment and payroll deduction reports and use enrollment data to support carrier installations.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day Employee Navigator needs, including broker and HR access, rate and enrollment audits, rate changes, division updates, and enrollment issues.
- Support broker service needs involving missed enrollments, automation requests and updates, and groups operating outside of Employee Navigator.
- Manage implementation requirements for non-Employee Navigator groups, including collecting employer documentation, preparing carrier census templates, tracking outstanding information, and communicating carrier approvals.
- Collaborate across UPG's internal teams to resolve complex implementation, enrollment, and technology-related issues.

What You Bring
\n
- \n
- 2+ years of experience in the employee benefits or insurance industry
- Experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits administration platforms strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with census, enrollment, and benefits data
- Strong technology skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple carrier and benefits administration platforms
- Understanding of carrier implementation processes, enrollment workflows, and employee benefits administration
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple implementations, renewals, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with brokers, carriers, and internal teams
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset
- Based in the Tampa area or surrounding Florida market preferred
